Via Cronos Bridge web app

This guide will teach you how to use the Cronos Bridge web app for Crypto.com DeFi wallet, Keplr or Metamask.

Before we get started, it is important to note that the wallet address for Crypto.org chain and Cronos chain is different. You can tell the difference by looking at the start of the address.

• Crypto.org chain’s address will start with “cro” followed by string of alphanumeric numbers.

• Cronos chain’s address will start with “0x…” followed by string of alphanumeric numbers.

The Cronos Bridge allows you to bridge your CRO tokens from the Crypto.org chain to the Cronos chain.

Example scenario 1:

If you have some CRO tokens on your Keplr wallet, you will need to send it to either your Metamask or Crypto.com DeFi wallet via the Cronos Bridge. This is so that you can use these wallets to connect to CronaSwap via the Cronos Chain.

Example scenario 2:

If you would like to bridge your CRO tokens from the Crypto.org chain to Cronos chain on your Crypto.com DeFi wallet, you can do it via the Cronos Bridge web app.

Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Go to https://cronos.crypto.org/bridge/ and click on “Connect Wallet”.

Step 2: Select any of the non-custodial wallet you wish to connect. In this guide, we will go through the Crypto.com DeFi wallet option.

Step 3: In the “To” field, select Crypto.org. In the “From” field, select Cronos. In the “Assets” field, select CRO.

Step 4: Enter the number of tokens you wish to bridge. And then enter in your Cronos chain address from your Crypto.com DeFi wallet. Tap on “Transfer Assets” once done.

Tip – always send a small test amount when trying a new process the first time.

Step 5: Once you arrive on the confirmation page , click on “Confirm”.

Step 6: Confirm the transaction on your DeFi wallet (mobile app). Your request will then be submitted, and it will take about 1 minute for the bridging process to complete.

Step 7: That’s it! You have successfully bridged your tokens.

Step 8: You can then head to https://app.cronaswap.org/ and connect your Crypto.com DeFi wallet and start using any of the feature on the platform!
